The Xenotoca doadrioi
is a hardy, beautiful, distinctively shaped goodeid that can
range of temperatures, though it does best in the lower 70s.
Fairly prolific, their numbers
will increase even though they are prone to eating their
fry, but they will do best when the
female is removed to a separate tank, and the
fry are raised separately.
Best kept in a colony tank, they are well
behaved with one another.
